Course Description

This course will cover on topics related to plant science and animal science.  Students develop the necessary knowledge, skills, habits and attitudes for future careers. In addition to regular curriculum, students will learn to evaluate a site for suitability for crop production or home establishment, complete a leadership project, and develop the ability to identify cuts of meat and determine sample quality in preparation for participation in the Meats Evaluation CDE.
